ORDER
The present petitioner fears that he would be abducted by the respondents 7 to 20 for ransom and consequently fears threat to his life, limb and property.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's wife had given sequence of complaints to the respondents Police, but no action has been taken. Therefore, on 09.03.2019 he has preferred a fresh complaint to the sixth respondent and even that is not being considered. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 6.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents submitted that a copy of the same has also been forwarded to the fifth respondent and it has been received only today (20.03.2019).
4.Now the fifth respondent is directed to cause such necessary enquiry to ascertain the merits of the allegations made in and take such appropriate decision to secure the life, limb and liberty of the petitioner. The fifth respondent is directed to dispose of the matter within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Trichirappalli, is directed to monitor the course of such enquiry. 5.In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
