This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to register a case and to investigate the matter based upon the complaint sent by the petitioner dated 27.11.2017.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that, based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has already been registered in Crime No.148 of 2018, for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i) IPC on the file of the respondent police. He has also produced a copy of the FIR to that effect. 3.Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
