ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to pay adequate compensation to the petitioner for the unexpected death of her husband namely Late.Kandhasamy due to electrocution under the Tamilnadu Chief Ministers Relief Fund by considering her representation dated 27.02.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader for the 2nd respondent and the learned counsel for the 5th respondent.

3. The petitioner preferred a representation dated 27.02.2024 to the 2/4

respondents for compensation to be granted for the death of the petitioner's husband due to electrocution. However, the same is pending so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader would fairly submit that the representation would be disposed of within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the said submission, without going into the merits or the contentions of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to dispose of the representation preferred by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
