ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to issue Non-Traceable Certificate to the petitioner with regard to the missing original Sale Deed Document No.450/2018 dated 07.09.2018 on the file of the Barkitmanagaram Sub Registrar Office, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli, relating to land in Old S.No.102, R.S.No.102/51 to an extent 4.10 cents (1785.96 square feet) situated at Ariyakulam Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli, within a time stipulated by this Court. 1/3

It is seen that the petitioner purchased the property comprised in Old Survey No.102, R.S.No.102/51 to an extent 4.10 cents situated at Ariyakulam Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District by way of a registered sale deed vide Document No.450 of 2018. On 21.12.2021, when the petitioner went to xerox shop for taking copy of the document, it was found missing. Therefore, the petitioner lodged complaint before the third respondent and it is pending.

3. Considering the above, the petitioner is directed to make a public notice and submit the same to the third respondent. On receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to issue nontraceable certificate in respect of the missing sale deed dated 07.09.2018 vide Document No.450 of 2018 to the petitioner, after ensuring that the said document has not been deposited for any other purpose, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
