Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the name of Muthalazhi from the Revenue Records like in Patta, Chitta, Adangal etc., comprised in S.Nos.313/1B, 327/3 of Sethur Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The writ petitioner had purchased the petition mentioned property vide two sale deeds, dated 09.07.2010 and 05.03.2018 and the patta has also been issued in favour of the Samikannu and Vimala Rani. The writ petitioner is Father of Vimala Rani. But in the revenue records the name of Muthazhagi continues to figure. The said Muthazhagi is the mother of the writ petitioner's vendor. Therefore, seeking deletion of her name, this writ petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate submitted that the said name will be deleted from the revenue records within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Recording the above submission, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
