ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J] Heard Mr.P.M.Vishnuvarthanan, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents. 2.By consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue Kattunayakan (ST) Community Certificate to his children based on applications /representations dated 28.02.2019 within a stipulated

time.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioners would state that proper applications were already submitted. Since those applications were not taken up for consideration, representations were given on 28.02.2019.

5.According to the learned Special Government Pleader, the writ petition is premature.

6.However, while considering the grievance expressed by the petitioners, this Court directs the petitioners to submit applications through online, if not already submitted and on such compliance, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks therefrom.
