*********** [Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant appropriate permission and necessary police protection for the initial preparation and kodai festival of Shri Sudalaimadaswamy Temple at Vadalivilai, Kottar Post, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, from 07.05.2018 to 12.05.2018, taking into consideration the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2018.

2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.M.Pandiyarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, informs that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the third respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 03.05.2018 and the outcome of the representation of the petitioner shall be intimated to him. No costs.
