Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to settle my surrender leave salary for 162 days in respect of the years 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 20162017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum payable from the date for retirement till the date of actual payment.

*********** By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner served as Driver in the respondent Corporation. After rendering 29 years of service, the petitioner retired on 30.09.2019. However, his encashment of leave salary has not been disbursed. In this regard, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 12.02.2021. Since, the representation of the petitioner is still pending consideration, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.6877 of 2021 representation of the petitioner dated 12.02.2021. 4.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.02.2021, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
