ORDER

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as Junior Tradesman on 05.03.1985. The petitioner attained the age of superannuation on 31.08.2018. Since the 1/3

respondents did not call for option forms from the employees seeking their willingness to surrender their earned leave salary citing financial crisis, the petitioner made a representation dated 18.03.2021 to the respondents for settling his surrender leave for a period of 160 days. Since the same is not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the limited prayed as sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.03.2021 on merits and in accordance with same and dispose of the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
