ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to issue a direction to direct the respondent police to take appropriate and immediate action on the compliant lodged by the petitioner dated on 14.01.2026 within the stipulated time limit fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite receiving the complaint, the second respondent police did not take appropriate action. Hence his petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that there is a boundary dispute between the petitioner and her neighbours. The complaint was originally lodged by the petitioner's sister namely Kokila. During enquiry, the petitioner's sister has given a statement that they will work out the remedy before the concerned forum and settled the issue. On recording the statement, the complaint was closed. The petitioner has nothing to do with the complaint.

4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate that it is only the sister of the petitioner who lodged the complaint, not the petitioner. The petitioner is given liberty to lodge a complaint afresh to the second respondent police and the second respondent police, on receipt of the same, is directed to take necessary action on her complaint.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
