O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to file final report in Crime No. 401 of 2024. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, the present FIR has been registered. However, without conducting proper investigation the case is still pending. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 401 of 2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 296(b), 118(1) and 351(2) of BNS Act, 2023. The investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks one month time to complete the investigation and to file a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Court.

4.Since the prayer of the petitioner to file final report and the respondent police also assured to complete the investigation within a period

of one month, recording the aforesaid submission, the first respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
