O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus seeking a direction against the second respondent/Tahsildar to comply with a direction already issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tanjore District, dated 30.06.2022.

2.Heard Mr.J.Karthikeyan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Muthu Vijayan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.It is the grievance of the learned Counsel for the petitioner that after the Writ Petition has been filed, an appeal against the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer had been preferred before the District Revenue Officer. Notice had been directed and the petitioner had 2/4

appeared in his capacity as respondent before the District Revenue Officer, Tanjore.

4.Let the proceedings continue and even though the District Revenue Officer is not a party before this Court, a direction is given that the appeal proceedings may be disposed of on or before 31.07.2023. 5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
