ORDER

Seeking a direction to the third respondent to appoint him on compassionate ground, the petitioner is before this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the third respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The case of the petitioner is that his father, who served as a Sweeper in the third respondent Corporation, passed away during the course of employment. compassionate ground, the petitioner, being the son of the deceased, made a representation dated 05.09.2018 to the third respondent. Since no orders have been passed on the same, the petitioner is before this Court seeking the above stated relief. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought in the present writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.09.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
