ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal 28.01.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent. In view of the order, which is going to be passed hereunder, no notice to the respondents 1 and 2 is required.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was suspended from service by the second respondent on 26.12.2017 on procedural lapses. Challenging the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal dated 28.01.2018 before the first respondent and the same is pending without getting disposal. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the appeal is stated to be pending from the year 2018, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 28.01.2018, if not already disposed, on merits and in accordance with law, after due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
