This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry based on the complaint of the third respondent. 2.According to the petitioner, there is a money dispute pending between the petitioners and third respondent and thereby, the third respondent lodged a false complaint against the petitioners for the dispute arose 20 years back. Taking advantage of the same, now the second respondent started to harass the petitioners. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the third respondent's complaint, the respondent police has called the petitioners for enquiry, but they have not attended the enquiry. However, the enquiry will be completed within a period of one week and the respondent police have not harass the petitioners as alleged by them. 2/4
4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of one week in accordance with law. 5.With the above observations and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
