Rs.5,66,692/- in respect of the petitioner's land in S.No.540/B of Manmangalam Village, Karur District and consequently direct the 4th respondent to disburse the compensation amount to the petitioner along with interest, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.A line corridor has been drawn by the fourth respondent over the petition mentioned lands. It is not in dispute that lands stood in the name of the petitioner. He had executed deeds of settlement in favour his two sons conveying portions of the land originally held by him. The fourth respondent is not sure over whose lines the lines have been drawn. The Tahsildar, ManmangAlam Taluk is directed to conduct survey in this regard and submit the report to the fourth respondent. This survey may not decisive the issue. It 2/4

can only facilitate the fourth respondent to arrive at a decision. The petitioner as well as his sons shall appear before the fourth respondent after the submission of the survey report by the third respondent. If consensus is arrived at among the parties, based on the same, the fourth respondent will disburse the compensation amount. If there is no consensus, the amount shall be deposited before the reference Court. The reference Court will thereafter will decide the issue of disbursement / apportionment. The third respondent will conduct survey and submit his survey report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The fourth respondent will take a decision as mentioned above within a period of two months thereafter. 3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
