ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 14.11.2018 and regularize her service.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to
4. In view of the limited order being passed hereunder, notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3.The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner was promoted as Office Assistant on 01.07.1999, she was retrenched from the Society on 03.05.2002. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed a writ petition in W.P(MD)No.21213 of 2003, in which an interim order has been passed by this Court, dated 08.05.2002. In view of the said interim order, the respondent Bank permitted the petitioner to join duty. But the Special Officer and Secretary have restrained the petitioner from joining duty. Seeking regularization, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 14.11.2018. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 4.
The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed. 5.In such view of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 14.11.2018 seeking regularization of her service and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
