PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to take necessary steps to demarcate and subdivide the petitioner's property in S.F.No.597/1 to an extent of 0.0068 Ares situated at Melapagthi Village, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District, based on the petitioner's application dated 09.09.2024 within a stipulated time in accordance with law.

The petitioner seeks limited relief of survey to be conducted based on his application dated 16.11.2022 and 09.09.2024. 2.The case of the petitioner is that in respect of his property, despite an application having been made for survey as early as in November 2022 and again in September 2024, because of the objections of the respondents 5 to 7, who have no right in the petitioner's property, the survey has not been conducted. The 2/5

petitioner has also given representations on 06.06.2023 and 22.01.2024.

3.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, with the consent of the learned Counsel on either side side, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal. It would suffice to issue a direction to the second respondent, with the assistance of the first respondent, to conduct survey and demarcate the property based on his application within a period of six [6] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If necessary, the survey officials shall take the assistance of the jurisdictional police officials after giving them advance notice.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
