ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.6 of 2017 and to file final report within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are the victims in this case and they have deposited their hard earned money in the Chithra Finance on various dates to the tune of Rs.49 lakhs. However, without conducting proper investigation the case is still pending. Hence, this petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by one of the victim namely Chezhiyan, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 6 of 2017 for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 of IPC and Section 5 of TNPID Act The investigation is completed and the final report is also made ready and they will file the final report before the concerned Court within a week. 4.Recording the same, the second respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
