O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.11 of 2010 dated 18.02.2010 and file the final report within a time frame. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant and he is 79 years old. The counsel for the petitioner states that, there was no further progress and hence the petitioner has filed this petition.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submit that the charge sheet is almost ready and that it is likely to be filed within a short time. Recording the said statement, this court is inclined to allow this Criminal Original petition with the following directions:

"The respondent is directed to expedite the investigation in Crime No.11 of 2010 and file the final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
