Mayilvahana Rajendren, Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent herein and submitted that the complaints of the petitioners were merged vide order in PE.365/2017/SW/PK dated 08.12.2017 based on the complaint given by one Tamizh Selvi, who is the petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.19632 of 2017. The copy of the order is also filed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for perusal of this Court.

3.Considering the averments made in these petitions, this Court direct the respondent concerned to enquire into the veracity and genuiness of the complaints in adherence to the principles and directions laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Lalitha Kumari Vs. Government of U.P. and others reported in 2013
(4) Crimes 243 (SC) and complete the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of the respondent police finding any prima facie case in the complaints of the petitioners, they shall register a case within a period of one week thereafter. Before taking a decision in one way or other by the respondent Police, the complaints should be heard. 4.In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to send the copy of the closure report to the petitioners herein within a period of one week from the date of closure. On receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioners either to make a private complaint or recourse to any other provisions of law. 5.With the above observations, these Criminal Original Petitions are closed.
