Respondent PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 12.03.2019 to take appropriate action under Section 82 and 83 of the registration Act and as per the letter of the first respondent Letter No.41530/U1/2017 dated 08.11.2017 for the illegal registration of settlement deed bearing document No.4106 dated 09.11.2017.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner in his representation demands cancellation of the settlement deed dated 09.11.2017 registered as document No.4106 of 2017 on the file of the third respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate rightly pointed out that the relief of cancellation can be granted only by the jurisdictional Civil Court.

4.Hence, keeping open the rights of the writ petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed. It is always open to the writ petitioner to move the Civil Court for the relief which he is seeking. No costs.
