ORDER
The petitioners have filed the present Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 05.09.2019. 2.By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioners, their father executed a registered gift deed in favour of the petitioners comprised in Survey No.45/3B to an extent of 47 cents situated in Y.Kodikulam Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District, which is an ancestral property. After the execution of the gift deed, their father mutated the revenue records in the name of the petitioners, but FMB sketch was not prepared to the extent available in the petitioners name. Hence, they made a representation dated 05.09.2019 to the respondents. W.P.(MD)No.9971 of 2020 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioners' representation dated 05.09.2019, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.In the light of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 05.09.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the interested parties, if necessary. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
