ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the first respondent, District Registrar, Karur District, Karur to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioners to cancel a supplementary deed dated 25.11.2017 in document No.1/2018/4BK on the file of the second respondent/ Sub Registrar, Chinnatharauram Sub Registrar Office, Chinnatharapuram,

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that with respect to cancellation of the said deed, though a suit has been filed independently an application has been preferred by the first petitioner. By this writ petition the petitioners seek earlier disposal.

4. Since the matter is under consideration of the first respondent it would be extremely inappropriate on the part of this Court to examine the issue on merits.

5. After hearing the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, a direction is given to the first respondent that after affording opportunities to all parties, endeavour to dispose of the appeal which is pending before him on or before 31.07.2023.
