(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows: ''To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Madurai District Community Certificate Scrunity Committee comprising the respondents 1 and 2 herein and one member Anthropologist to expedite and complete the enquiry proceedings initiated in Na.Ka.No.15.394/2022D4 based on the petitioner's representation and pass final orders within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.''

Mr.SRA.Ramachandran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the writ petition has become infructuous inasmuch as the District Level Vigilance Committee has passed orders even on 25.06.2024 on the issue of community certificate of the 3rd respondent.

Mr.C.Godwin, learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent would, however, vehemently contend that the very writ petition is actuated by Page No.2 of 4
malice and the petitioner has no locus standi to maintain the writ petition. He would also submit that the order dated 25.06.2024 has not been served on him. 4.
Now that the final order has been passed on the correctness of the community certificate of the 3rd respondent. We do not deem it necessary to go into the contention of Mr.Godwin regarding the locus standi of the petitioner to file the writ petition. Reserving liberty to the 3rd respondent to challenge the conclusions of the District Level Scrutiny Committee in a manner known to law, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. (R.S.M, J.)
