*********** [Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2018 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner, who is stated be the President of Madurai Town Hall Road Perumal Theppakulam Anaithu Siru Viyaparigal Nala Sangam, submitted a representation dated 12.04.2018 to the respondents requesting them to make arrangement to finish the ongoing road work at Town Hall Road at the earliest and resume normal and regular vehicular traffic. The said representation, till date, remains unanswered.

3. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 3.

4. Mr.Prabhu Ramachandran, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the second respondent, on instructions, informs that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the outcome of the representation of the petitioner shall be intimated to him. No costs.
