ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is arrayed as accused No.1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.05.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 307, 120(B) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002 in Crime No. 518 of 2016, on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the petitioner has been detained under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
