Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to issue a suitable direction directing the Respondent police to give adequate police protection for their life and limb.

ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed to direct the respondent police to give adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioners.

2.The petitioners stated that they planned to get marry on 29.12.2017. Though the petitioners are major and it is submitted that they are well qualified. They stated that the mother of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ second petitioner has strong objection to their marriage and has

threatened them with dire consequences. In this circumstances, they have submitted a representation to the first respondent on 19.12.2017.

3.Having regard to the fact that the marriage is fixed on 29.12.2017, the learned Counsel for the petitioners stated that a direction may be issued to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to pass the following direction: The first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 19.12.2017 and hold an enquiry and take necessary action as the situation may require.

5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
