PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant necessary permission and give adequate police protection to conduct "Vadamadu Manju Virattu" in village namely, Urkulathanpatti, Nedumaran Post, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District on 05.04.2020 subsequent to the temple festival of Arulmigu Urkulathanpatti Sri Karuppar Thirukovil situated in Village by consider the representation dated 05.03.2020.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection for conducting "Vadamadu Manju Virattu" scheduled to be held on 05.04.2020 in connection with Arulmigu Urkulathanpatti Sri Karuppar Thirukovil temple festival at Urkulathanpatti, Nedumaran Post, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the representation of the petitioner's, dated 05.03.2020. Now, due to efflux of time, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and hence, the same is dismissed. No costs.
