O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.210 of 2017 and to file final report.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on 23.08.2017 at about 10.00 am, the accused persons trespassed in to the petitioner's house and assaulted him and stolen two cars, cash of Rs.9,25,000/-, 244 sovereigns jewels and documents relating to the properties. He further submitted that the accused persons have moved this Court by filing Criminal Original Petition No.12437 of 2017, seeking anticipatory bail. The said petition was dismissed by this Court on 10.10.2017. Even thereafter, the second respondent did not show any interest to secure the accused and recover the properties.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the accused persons are absconding and hence, the police is not able to secure them and recover the properties.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and recover the stolen properties at early. The second respondent should show some interest in recovery of properties in the offences of this kind. He is further directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
