ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing a 1/4
direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct further investigation and invoke appropriate penal provisions based on the representation dated 09.02.2023.
2. The learned Additional public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police would submit that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dindigul has completed the investigation and the report was forwarded to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Rural), Dindigul. He further submitted that the investigation by the Deputy Superintendent of Police will be completed within a reasonable time.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the respondents police to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
