ORDER

Seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 25.11.2017 along with his representation, dated 26.12.2017, the present writ petition is filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that he is working as PG Assistant in the respondent department and as against the punishment of postponement of increment of salary for two years without https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cumulative effect, he made an appeal before the first respondent on 25.11.2017 and the same is kept pending without any disposal so far. In this regard, he also made a representation to the respondents, on 26.12.2017. The same was also kept pending by the respondents. This has necessitated the filing of this writ petition. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's appeal would be disposed of on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.Under such facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 25.11.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
