ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 10.10.2018, to abate the charges in disciplinary proceedings pending against him and further direct them to promote the petitioner as Senior Grade Driver and also pay other benefits, within the time frame, to be fixed by this Court. 2.Though the prayer in the writ petition is for a larger relief for abating the charges, now, it is agreeable by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent for considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.10.2018 in the light of the acquittal order passed in C.C.No.56 of 2010 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti on 02.01.2017. 3.Considering the above submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

10.10.2018 in the light of the acquittal order passed in C.C.No.56 of 2010, by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, dated 02.01.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
