Heard Mr. S. Manohar, Learned counsel for the Petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

The Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order in Assessment No. 115/018/01255 (Old No.115/48270) dated 08.03.2020 passed by the Respondent for the property at Door No.17, Bye Pass second Road (50, Navalar Nagar), Madurai - 16. 3.

When it was pointed out that the Petitioner has an effective alternative remedy under Section 169-G of the Madurai City Municipal Corporation Act to prefer appeal before the Taxation Appeals Tribunal against the order, which has been impugned in this Writ Petition, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition with liberty to resort to the same and he also made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
