ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing direction to the 1st respondent to instruct the respondents 2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 04.03.2023.
2. Though the notice was served on the 4th respondent and his name is also printed in the cause list, no one has appeared either in person or through his counsel.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that in respect of the complaint given by the 4th respondent, he has appeared before the respondents police and had given statement, but, however, he was pressurised to settle the entire amount.
4. Perusal of enquiry file shows that in respect of the insurance of vehicles a case has been registered against the 4th respondent / Mariappan and he was shown as the first accused in the above said case. 2/5
From the above said Mariappan, this complaint is registered against the petitioner in Crime No.325 of 2020 stating that the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- from the 4th respondent and he has paid only Rs.3,00,000/- and the remaining balance of Rs.3,00,000/- was not paid to him.
5. The contention of the petitioner before this Court that since the complaint given against the fourth respondent is pending before the City Crime Branch, Chennai, the present complaint ought to have been transferred to the to the City Crime Branch, Chennai.
6. Let the present complaint itself be transferred to the City Crime Branch, Chennai. If any summon is received from the City Crime Branch, Chennai, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with them.
7. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
