Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to award adequate police protection to the partners of Sri Mahalakshmi Bakery and Sweets situated at No.78/1B1, Palani Bypass Road, Kurumbapatti Village, Dindigul District pursuant to the petitioner's complaint dated 18.03.2019 which is pending with the 3rd respondent in C.S.R.No.75 of 2019.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to award adequate police protection to the partners of Sri Mahalakshmi Bakery and Sweets situated at No.78/1B1, Palani Bypass Road, Kurumbapatti Village, Dindigul District pursuant to the petitioner's complaint, dated 18.03.2019, which is pending with the 3rd respondent in C.S.R.No.75 of 2019.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and one Raja are doing business in partnership and running Bakery and due to certain difference of opinion between them, the petitioner's life and limb and right to do his business is under threat.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has given a representation / complaint to the third respondent, which has been received in CSR.No.75 of 2019, but, no action is since taken.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) taking notice of all the respondents submitted that the petitioner's complaint would be duly enquired and appropriate decision to protect the petitioner's life and limb would be taken.

5. The respondents Police is directed to expedite the investigation in CSR.No.75 of 2019 and complete the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
