(Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM,J.) The petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue a community certificate in favour of the petitioner's son viz., Prakash, based on her representation dated 11.03.2019. 2.The case of the petitioner is that she was married to one Easwaran and during the lawful wedlock, she has begotten a male child viz., Prakash and now he is studying 10th standard. 3.The petitioner would state that due to strained relationship, her husband is living away from the petitioner for the past ten years. The petitioner would further state that the school authorities insisted for community certificate of the petitioner's son and hence, she approached the nearest E-Seva Centre and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
registered the details of her son for getting community certificate. Since there is no action, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 11.03.2019. Even then there is no response from the respondent. Hence, the writ petition.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is given to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner in a time frame.
5. Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader would state that the representation would be considered in accordance with law.
6. In the light of the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition and the submissions of the learned counsels, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
