O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to disburse the retirement benefits and monthly pension payable to the petitioner for the service rendered by him to the third respondent as Electrician-Helper, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 09.02.2019.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he joined as Electrician-Helper in the third respondent on 01.06.1993 on daily wages basis. After the completion of service, he retired on 30.11.2018 on attaining the age of superannuation. However, the respondents have not paid the retirement benefits and monthly pension payable to the petitioner. Hence, he made a representation to the respondents on 09.02.2019 seeking disbursement of his retirement benefits and monthly pension. Since the same has not been considered so far, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the respondents within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the nature of the relief as sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.02.2019 seeking disbursement of his retirement benefits and monthly pension and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
