This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner based on the complaint given by the third respondent under the guise of enquiry. 2.According to the petitioner, there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the third respondent. Based on the said dispute, the third respondent lodged a complaint against the petitioner. Taking advantage of the same, the respondent police frequently called the petitioner to appear for enquiry. Already the petitioner appeared for enquiry on 28.02.2025. Again the second respondent insisting the petitioner to appear before the respondent police station without issuing any summons. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation dated 28.02.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 2/5

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the third respondent's complaint, the respondent police went to the petitioner's house to serve the summons but he refused to receive the summons. Only for enquiry purpose, they have called the petitioner and apart from that no harassment was made as alleged by the petitioner. 4.Since the second respondent admitted that based on the third respondent's complaint, he called the petitioner for enquiry and not harassed him, recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
