By consent of both counsels, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. Though, the petitioner has sought for a direction to the second respondent to forbear the respondents 3 to 5 from interfering in the fifth day Mandahapadi, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if his application dated 22.06.2017 filed under Section 63 (e) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 be directed to be disposed of expeditiously.

3. In view of the submissions made, there shall be a direction to the first respondent herein to consider the petition under Section 63(e) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, dated 22.06.2017 within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
