2.Crime No.193 of 2019 and Crime No.221 of 2019 are case and counter case. Crime No.193 of 2019 has culminated into C.C.No.639 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tirunelveli. The accused in both the cases have entered into a compromise and they are not interested in continuance of the prosecution. Therefore, these criminal original petitions have been filed for quashing the respective cases.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the Inspector of Police, Palayamkottai Police Station, Tirunelveli District, confirmed that the matter has been amicably settled. 4.Therefore, no purpose will be served by keeping the impugned prosecution alive. They are accordingly quashed. These Criminal Original Petitions are allowed.
