ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to give appointment to the petitioner on compassionate ground, based on the representation dated 15.04.2016, this writ petition has been filed. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent and the learned counsel for the second respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, being a second class legal heir of the deceased Chandra, who served as a Sweeper in the second respondent Corporation and died while in service, made a representation dated 15.04.2016 to the respondents seeking compassionate appointment and the same is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel for the second respondent, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the above submission, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2016 one way or the other and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
