Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to revise the scale of pay of the petitioner by granting two advance increments for acquiring PG Degree to the petitioner along with other consequential benefits within the time period stipulated by this Court.

Seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 for revision of scale of pay, the petitioner is before this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3.The case of the petitioner is that he has acquired P.G.Degree i.e., M.D., in General Medicine, for which, he is entitled to get two increments by way of refixing the scale of pay. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
But the same has not been done by the respondents. Seeking refixation of scale of pay by adding two increments for P.G.Degree, the petitioner made a representation dated 23.12.2018 to the respondents 2 and 3 and the same is pending without getting response. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.
5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.12.2018 one way or the other and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
