ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 420, 406 and 506(i) of IPC., in Crime No. 'Not Known' of 2017, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent states that no FIR is registered against the petitioner and the petition enquiry alone is pending before the respondent Police.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the respondent Police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

4. Considering the above facts, the respondent is directed either to register the FIR or close the enquiry, as expeditiously as possible and further, the respondent should not harass the petitioner during enquiry. The petitioners are also directed to cooperate with the enquiry.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
