Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to conclude the election to the post of non hereditary trustee to Sri Arulmigu Kuttiyandavar Temple and Mariamman Temple at Vambarampatti Post, Keelanilai Viz, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukottai District, based on the order of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.22875 of 2017, pursuant to election notification dated 30.11.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent for implementing the scheme decree in O.A.No.13 of 2012.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants the election to the post of non hereditary tristee to the petition mentioned temple to be concluded. It is seen that this was subject matter in W.P.(MD)No.22875 of 2017. This Court had appointed Mr.K.K.Senthil as the Advocate Commissioner for preparing voters list. The learned Advocate Commissioner is present in person before this Court and he informs that he will be able to finalise voters list within a period of two weeks from today. Thereafter the second respondent will have to conduct election. Since the Parliament Elections are intervening, I am of the view that the second respondent can be mandated to conclude the election on or before 10.05.2019.
