PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner at the guise of enquiry.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner at the guise of enquiry.

2. The case of the petitioner is that a case in C.C.No.1070 of 2020 has been registered against this petitioner and it is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tirunelveli. It is also submitted that the first respondent has issued a summon dated 07.03.2021, calling upon the petitioner to produce the copy of the orders in Crl.O.P(MD).No.1849 of 2021 and Crl.O.P(MD).No.3372 of 2021. Further, the first respondent has compelled the petitioner to appear before him and stated that if he fails to appear for enquiry, he will foist false cases against him.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has not complied with the anticipatory bail conditions. Therefore, he was directed to produce the copy of the above said orders and there is no harassment on the part of the first respondent Police.

4. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further adjudication or consideration. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
