: Respondents/Complainants PRAYER: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the second respondent to register the case against the accused persons based on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.03.2017 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is to direct the second respondent to register the case against the accused persons based on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.03.2017 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been enquired and the same has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer, Madurai on 02.07.2018 and the same is pending for enquiry. After receiving report from the Social Welfare Officer, Madurai, further action will be taken on the complaint of the petitioner.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach this Court, if necessary, at later point of time.
