DECREE:- This Appeal Suit coming on for hearing on Wednesday, the 2nd day of March, Two Thousand and Twenty Two, upon perusing the Grounds of Appeal, the judgments and decrees of the Trial Court and the material papers in the Suit and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.G.PRABHU RAJADURAI, Advocate for the Appellants and of Mr.C.NAGAMUTHU, Advocate for the Respondent, having stood over for consideration till this day, this Court doth order and decree as follows:-

(1) That the Judgment and Decree of the Principal District Judge, Pudukkottai dated 18.12.2019 made in Appeal Suit No.98 of 2018 be and hereby confirmed and this appeal is dismissed.

(2) That, the interest on the refund is modified as 7.5% from the date of Ex.A1 and Ex.A2 till the date of filing the suit and thereafter 6 % from the date of the suit to the date of realization.

(3) That, there be no costs in this Appeal.
