Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members, under the guise of an enquiry.

ORDER

The main grievance of the petitioner is that he lodged a complaint with the second respondent that his chain snatched by an unknown person during the year 2008 and that however, the second respondent is harassing the petitioner under the guise of an enquiry instead of finding out the real culprit.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the petitioner is a history sheeter in H.S.No.8 of 2020 and that three cases are pending against him for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 323, 506(i), 506(ii) and 379 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
