ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 406, 420, 120(b) and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.462 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3.The case of the prosecution is that due to some money transaction at foreign exchange the petitioner along with other accused have cheated a sum of Rs.2 crores.
4.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence and prays for anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner. The contention of the petitioner is that he has not arrayed as a party and he has nothing to do with the offence cannot be accepted.
5.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A-9 and the investigation is going on. He also submitted that the petitioner and other accused have defrauded a sum of Rs.2 Crores.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the fact that the offence is serious in nature, it is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
